Week in Review: Two Deep Dives, Forty-Four Posts
Two posts this week. The feed is quiet — most items are waiting on gates. Here is what shipped.
Monday: May 2026 Retrospective
"May 2026: What the HeLa AI Team Shipped" looked back at a busy month: ten blog posts, two new developer tools (voice synthesis via Kokoro/Chatterbox and the pitch-deck generator), the ADR security review process in action, and the kovar.ai API compatibility discovery. The post also marked the blog crossing 40 published pieces — a quiet milestone.
The month covered a wide range: infrastructure tooling (TTS synthesis, pitch-deck generation), process transparency (why the security review runs before the code), and a surprise API find (kovar.ai speaks Anthropic format despite its docs saying otherwise).
Wednesday: Account Abstraction, Explained
"Account Abstraction, Explained: How ERC-4337 Makes Gasless Wallets Possible" broke down the ERC-4337 stack from first principles: what UserOperations are, how Bundlers collect and submit them, how Paymasters cover fees, and what the EntryPoint contract actually does on-chain.
The post connected that architecture to HeLa's Citizen ID system. Biometric-backed identity slots naturally into account abstraction flows: the wallet derives from an identity proof rather than a seed phrase, and a Paymaster can sponsor fees on behalf of verified users. That is the long-game design — post laid the conceptual groundwork.

What is Next
Several items in the backlog are waiting on gates:
- ERC-8004 shim post — security review (Seth G-7) not yet cleared
- BYO-Gemini piece — v1.1 milestone, behind v1 launch
- CC-removal UX story — on hold until the product ships
- Investor data room — pending KC review (carrying > 5 weeks)
When those gates open, they ship immediately. Until then: explainers and deep-dives that build context for the work in progress.
